Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms") carefully before downloading or using the Yapathon application. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 years old in the EEA) to use the App. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. If you are under the applicable minimum age, you may only use the App with the direct involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.
By accepting these Terms, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement, or that a parent or guardian has done so on your behalf.
3. License to Use the App
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Loy-Ren grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App for your personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service.
You may not:
- Copy, modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works based on the App
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App
- Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels
- Use the App for any commercial purpose or on behalf of a third party
- Rent, lease, sell, sublicense, or transfer the App to another person
- Use cheats, exploits, automation software, bots, or any unauthorized third-party software that modifies or interferes with the App
4. In-App Purchases
Yapathon is free to download and offers optional one-time in-app purchases that permanently unlock premium content and features ("Premium Features"). All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store.
4.1 Billing
By making a purchase, you agree to pay the applicable price as displayed at the time of purchase. Prices are in the currency of your App Store account and may include applicable taxes. All purchases are one-time payments with no recurring charges.
4.2 Restoring Purchases
If you reinstall the App or switch devices, you can restore your previous purchases at no additional cost using the "Restore Purchases" option within the App. You must be signed in to the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.
4.3 Refunds
All purchases are final and non-refundable, except as required by applicable law or Apple's refund policies. To request a refund, please contact Apple directly via reportaproblem.apple.com.
4.4 Price Changes
We reserve the right to change the price of in-app purchases at any time. Price changes will be reflected in the App Store listing before any purchase is made.
5. Leaderboards and Game Center
Yapathon features global leaderboards powered by Apple Game Center. Your Game Center alias and score may be visible to other players. Use of Game Center is subject to Apple's Terms of Service. You agree not to cheat, exploit, or manipulate leaderboard scores.
6. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, graphics, artwork, word content, sounds, user interface, and all underlying code, are the exclusive property of Loy-Ren AB or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. All rights not expressly granted in these Terms are reserved.
"Yapathon" and the Yapathon logo are the branding of Loy-Ren AB. You may not use our name or logo without our prior written permission.
7. User Conduct
You agree not to use the App to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Infringe the rights of any third party
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the App or its services
8. Availability and Updates
We aim to keep the App available and up to date, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue the App or any feature at any time without notice. We are not liable for any such changes or interruptions.
9. Third-Party Services
The App integrates with third-party services including Apple Game Center and RevenueCat. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of these third parties.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, LOY-REN AB AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE APP, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
12. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sweden, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms that cannot be resolved amicably shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sweden.
If you are a consumer in the EEA, you may also be entitled to mandatory consumer protection rights under the law of your country of residence, which these Terms do not override.

13. Apple-Specific Terms
These Terms are between you and Loy-Ren AB only, not with Apple Inc. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support services for the App. In the event of any third-party claim that the App infringes intellectual property rights, Apple is not responsible for the investigation or settlement of such claims. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, via an in-app notice. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
